Saturday, January 13
"UNITY WALK" Join the school children of Longwood School District and members of the Longwood Community as we honor and celebrate the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This will be a wonderful event for the adults and kids ‘of all ages’ as we walk in honor of Dr. King from the Coram Elementary School down to our magnificent Coram Fire Department where the rest of the events will take place!

Here’s the planned schedule:
11:00a – 11:30a: ‘Unity Walk’ from Coram Elementary to the Coram Firehouse 11:30a – 12:15p: Lunch will be served for all the participants
12:15p – 12:45p: Our speaker will remind us of the works of Dr. King
12:45p – 2:00p: All of the student presentations spanning literature to the arts will be viewed, judged and prizes awarded! We will also have a ‘Youth Job Fair’ and reps from various community resource organizations will also be there to explain their services.

We're reaching out to our Town of Brookhaven Supervisor
Edward P. Romaine to see if his schedule will allow for him
to bring us all up-to-date on how our Town is doing!
(We think it is doing pretty darn good!) We'll keep you posted on that.
